Maintenance Guide
Correct maintenance is the key to long-term stable operation. Maintenance schedule for the H-202 coiling machine:
| Item | Frequency | Task |
| Gear oil #85-90 (SAE#60) | Every 4 hours | Add to screw groove (never use grease) |
| Belt inspection | Weekly | Check tension and wear |
| Striking head assembly | Monthly | Check wear, replace if needed |
| Center rod | Monthly | Check alignment and wear |
| Heating elements | Quarterly | Test heating efficiency |
| Full service | Every 6 months | Replace oil, clean oil paths, inspect all wear parts |
Troubleshooting Quick Reference
Q: Unstable tooth dimensions?
Check spring clamp tension, recalibrate screw height (hook 0.5-1.0mm below black head tip), replace worn center rod and realign, calibrate heating temperature.
Q: Abnormal chain elasticity?
Adjust center thread clamp tension, black head-to-cover tail gap, center rod groove depth; clear center thread passage blockages; check hook tip wear.
Q: Skipped stitches on front of zipper?
Lower thread too loose or cam too fast/releases too early; check feed and take-up coordination; adjust lower thread tension, slow cam speed.
Q: Skipped stitches on back of zipper?
Upper needle loop not opened or hook missed; needle-hook distance too wide or misaligned; re-adjust needle column height, ensure 3-4mm gap.
Q: Thread breakage?
Check in order: thread splices → upper tension too tight → dull needle tip → bent needle → hook damage → unstable roller speed → small plate too narrow/hot → poor chain shape.
Q: Irregular stitch pattern?
Hook releases upper loop too fast, poor retreat; adjust hook left-right swing timing or grind hook lower edge incline to add resistance.
